IN THE`MATTER OF ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT N0. 26 OF THE CITY QF LYNWOOD.
RESOLUTION APPOINTING COMPETENT PERSON TO
PREPARE AND FURNISH SPECIFICATIONS.
BE, AND IT IS HEREF3Y RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood, that ROBE�?T B. MILLER, a competent person,.is .
hereby appointed for the purpose of preparing and furnishing
specifications for the contemplated improvement of the railroad
crossin�s on Elmwood Avenue at the Pacific Electric Railway
Company's right of way and the Southern Pacific Railway Company's
, ri�ht°of way and portions of�Alameda Street and Fernwood Ayenue.
Said specifications to conform to all requirements of en
act of the Legisla�:ure of the State of California, known and
designated as the "Acquisition and Improvement Act of 1925", and
all amendments ther.eto. •
The compensation of the sa±d �OR�.'RT B. MILLER £or doing all
of•the said work.is hereby fixed at two �2) per cent of the total
aggregate contract price whioh may be finally paid td the Con-
tractor for said improvement. If before the "Award�of Contract"
in said Acquisition and Improvement District No. 26,. the pro-
ceedings hereunder shall cease or be abandoned, com-
; pensation of the_said ROBSRi� B. IuILL� shall be as provided in
said Acquisition and .Improvement �1ct of 1925, as amended.
