�9N.EREA5, the �ity Council of the City of South Gate, �alifornia,
a municipal eorporation lying within the County of Zos Angeles, State
of California, did, on the 25th day of June, 1929, approve specifi-
cations for certain improvemsnts contemplated In The Pr?atter of Acqui-
sition and Improvement District i�TO. 13 oS the �ity of South Gate, '
said improvsments consistin� of'grading, �aving with Portlant eement
concrete pavement, hexagonal slab design, construction of cement
eurbs, cement sidewalks and concrete gutters, rock and oil surface
and other work of improvement, and
iVHERr.AS, said specifications wero filed with the Clerk of the
City Council of the City of South Gate on tne 25th day of June, 1929,
and
• :??iERF�S, portions of said proposed improvements and a portion
of the assessment district (as proposed) lies within the boundaries
of the City of I,ynv�ood, County of �os �ngeles, State of California, and
P�`�IEREAS, tna City Council of the City of.South Gate did, on
the 25th day of June, 1929, request the consent of this Council to
(1) The making of the improvements and the.doing of the work
referred to and shown on tho said Spec3fica.tions so approved and filed.
(2) The inclusion in the proposed assessment district of that
portion of the said assessment district which lies within the bound-
aries of the City of Lynwood, and likewise
(3) The assessMent of the property 4vhich is,includsd within the
asseSsment district, and whicli lies ivithin the boundaries bf the City
of iynwood.
(4-) The comcnerlcement of the proceedings for the said proposed
improvemer_ts by the Council of the Qity of South Gate, Calii'ornia,
and to the�exerciso of juri by.said Council of the �ity oi'
Sout'ri Gate over all proceedin�s necessary or proper for the purpose
of consummating the same, all in accordance v✓itYi the provisions of
the ncguisition and Zmprovement Act of 1925, and amendments thereof;
and
tiYHEREAS, a certified copy of said Resolution Requesting Consent
of the City of Lynwood, in the above entitled matter, and a certified
copy of the Specifications im said matter have been filed ivith the
Clerk of the City Council oi the City of Lynwood; and

said Specifieations In tho Matter of Acquisition and Improvement Dis-
trict I�o. 13, of the City of South Gats, and is familiar with thc
things to be dore thereunder;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLUED by ths City Council of the City of
Lynwood, that the public interest, convenience and nscessity requix�e
the improvements set forth and described in, and to the extent and in
the manner set forth ; innsaid SpeeiSications approved by the Council
of the City of south Gate, as a�oresaid, and no�v on file with the
