That the assessment district,.as proposed in seid Resolution of Intention, incTudes the Aroperty which will be benefited by the doing`of the things 9ronosed to be done, and that the extent and boundaries of the assessmenb district _for said ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 26 o.f the City of Lynwood, as proposed in said Resolution of Intention No. 643, are hereby adopted.and established as the boundaries of said assessment district: SECTION 5. That the zones into whtch said assessment district is to be•divided, as proposed in said Resolution of Intention'and as shown in the specificationa therein rePerred to, correctly re- flect the benefits to be derived, and that the zonea, as set forth in said Resolution of Intention, ere hereby adopted'and estab�lished. SECTION 6. That the percentages to be�raised froar each of . said 2ones, as the same are set forth in said Resolution of In- tention,. are hereby adopted and determined. - SECTION 7. That the grades to which said.improvements:and work are to be constructed, as finally determined hereby, are those set forth in the plans and specifications•and referred to in said Resolution of Intention. , SECTION 8: That all protests and ob�ections presented have been disposed of in the time, form and manner, as required by law, and that this Legisletive Body has now acquired jurisdiction to order the things to"b"e�made 'arid`done that,were proposed to be " done, 'as set forth in said Resolution of Intention. � SECTION 9. That the public interest and necessity require, . and it is hereb,y ordered that the imnrovements and work more particularl,y described_in said Resolution of Intention No: 643,. and in the specifications, plans,-profiles and detail drawings therein.referred to, including improvem'ents and work on ELNPNOOD AVENUE, FERNWOOD AVENIIE and ALAMIDA STREET,.and certain easements across the Pacif.ic Electric Railway Company's right-of-way, be made and done. _. , - . SECTION 10. That the extent and.boundaries of the assessment • district, the•zones into which said district shall be divided, tYie percentages to be raised from each of said zones, and the grades to which said improvements are to be constructed, shall be those set forth in the said Resolution.of Intention, and in. . the specifications therein referred to, reference to which is ; hereby made. SECIION 11. That the time hereby fixed for re�eiving bids , "� for�the doirig'of said work and improvements.hereiri ordered is the' 30th day of July, 1929, at the hour of 8'P.r�., and tho Clerk of this City Council is hereby ordered to post, and to publish in the newspaper designated in said Resolution of Intention, to-wit, the "Lynwood Tribune," a notice inviting sealed bids, requiring in such notice all bids to be accompAnied by a certified check or bond,.all as required by the provisions of Section 12.of the 'Acquisition and Improvement Act of 1925." SECTION 12. That to defra,y the expenses of the work and improvements herein ordered, bonds v�ill be issued to the total amount of the same, said bonds to bear interest at the rate of .- ;.� +- ,�^? , ., . Seven (7�) per cent per annum, payable semi-annually, the first interest payment to be made on the second day of January or the second day of July (�vhichever month first succeeds the date of the bonds), next succeeding one year after�the date of such bonds, the last installment of interest to be paid at the maturity of the bonds and the aggregate principal of,all bonds issued for the improvements under the proceedings to be p'sid and discharged within 20 years after the date of their issuance, approximately one-eighteenth pert. of sucti eggregate principal to.be paid annuelly, all in gold coin, end the first payment on�the aggregate principal of the said bonds will be�made three years after the issuence thereof. A special fund for the peyment of the said bonds will be constituted by the levy of special assessment taxes on the lands within the assessment district, in accordance with-the provisions of the Aaquisition and Improvement Act of 1925, as amended, according to the-assessed value of the sald lan ds, exclusive of impronements thereon; except as otherwise provided'in said Acqui- sition and Improvement Act of 1925, as amended, and in accordance with the zones and percentages, as said assessment district zones and percentages are set.forth in said Resolution of Intention No.643. SECTION 13. That the proceedings for said work.and improve- � ments shell be had and taken under and in accordance with an Act of the Legislature of the, State of Cali£ornia, known and designated as the '�Acquisition and Improvement Act of 1925'�, as amended,,and said bonds shall also be issu.ed in.accordance with the provisions of said Act. SECTION 14. Reference is hereby made to said Resolution.of Intention•No: 643 for a description of the work and Improvement to be done, for the boundaries of the district, the zones, per- centages and grades. SECTION 15. Th�t the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of July, 1929. H . M .
