RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Moab City is planning enlargement and extension of its water storage and
supply system and for such purpose has selected a site for location of a 1,000,000 gallon
water storage tank, which site has been recommended by Davis C. Holder, Moab City Eng-
ineer,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the Mayor K. E. McDougald Is hereby authorized and directed to execute for
and on behalf of Moab City an application to the Department of The Interior Bureau of and
Management for purchase of the W 1/2 SW 1/4 NW 1 4 of Section 8, Township 26 South,
Range 22 East, S. L. B. d. M., Grand County, Utah, pursuant to the provisions of the act
of June 14, 1926 (44 Stat. 741), as amended by act of June 4, 1954 (68 Stat. 173: 43 U.S.
C. 869), and the regulations thereunder (43 CFR 254).
CERTIFICATION
The undersigned, City Recorder for Moab City, a municipal corporation of the State
of Utah, hereby certifies that the foregoing Is a true and correct copy of a resolution duly
adopted and passed by the Moab City Council at a special meeting, with a quorum present,
held pursuant to notice personally given to each councilman on the 27th day of October,
1958, and that said resolution has neither been rescinded nor modified.
