Section 9 -050 of the Land Development Code of the City of Tybee Island requires the enforcement of the
International Residential Code (IRC). The IRC requires final inspection of a newly constructed swimming
pool. According to our records you own a swimming pool that was constructed but has not passed a final
inspection. The swimming pool at 13 Eighteenth Street failed final inspection on December 3, 2010.
Enclosed is a copy of the inspection reports. A reinspection of the swimming pool has not been requested.
It would be a violation of the code for you, your family, or your guests to use the swimming pool. In
addition, you would have considerable liability if an accident was to occur and the pool had not been
inspected for code compliance. This is a very serious problem.
Please take the time to make your property a safer place to live and play by contacting us within two weeks
at (912) 786 -4573, extension 114, to schedule an inspection. Please refer to permit 10 -0425. Enforcement
will be the City's next course of action.

Between Tuesday afternoon when I met with Demetre and you in you office, my site review with Jonathan &
my review of Demetre's revised sketch, I have around 0.75 hours. This project will probably require some SEC
(not necessarily a detailed plan). Also, when building zero lot line, the burden is on the builder and applicant to
either;
... not disturb adjacent properties & clarify how they can work without doing so or
... obtain permission of those properties.
Please advise if this is to be a project I bill specifically or as part of my general consulting services.

This morning Demetre (cell 224 -0611) of Architectural Pools brought in the attached revised swimming pool
plan for 13 Eighteenth Street.
Note the 8" wall on the rear and the side property lines. Demetre asked if the wall is required on the side or
could it be on the rear only. Demetre hand wrote "deck drain" near the rear property line.
Please advise.
