CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2014-49
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT PREPARED BY PLYMOUTH
AND ORDERING BROCKTON LANE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, a feasibility report has been prepared by the city of Plymouth regarding a
street improvement project on Brockton Lane; and
WHEREAS, the project consists of edge mill and overlay on Brockton Lane between
CSAH 24 and the southerly city limits near 24th Avenue as described in the feasibility report; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the project is necessary,
cost-effective and feasible; and
WHEREAS, the city council previously established a date for the hearing to consider
making the improvement and has caused 10 days mailed and two weeks published notice to be
given; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held this day, at which time all persons wishing to be
heard were given an opportunity to be heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the city of Medina, as
follows:
1. The feasibility report prepared by the city of Plymouth for the Brockton Lane
project is hereby accepted and the project is determined to be necessary, cost-effective and
feasible.
2. The project is hereby ordered as proposed and shall be constructed by Plymouth
with materials consistent with Plymouth and Medina design standards.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Pederson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Anderson, Martin, Martinson, Pederson, Weir.
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
