RESOLUT ION uF A{*�ARD.
WFiEREAS, the City Council of the City of l;ynwood,

did in open sessi'on on the 8th day o£ April, 193C1 publicly_ '_
open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for
-=doing=the following'work to be done and improvement to be
made in said City, to-avit;-
All that certain �r�ork set forth in Resolution of
Intention No. 6t3ts passed and adonted by said City Council
on the 25th day of r'ebruary, 1930, which Resolution of'
Intention is on file in the office of the c;ity Clerk of
sadd City and is hereby reYerred to for a description of
the said work and improvement, and als� i'or a deebription -
of the assessment district liable to be assessed therefor,
and for further particulars:-
NOw THEREFOR� BE IT RESOI,VED by said City Conncil
that it re�ect, and it does hereby re�ect, all of said pro-
posals except the next herein mentioned, and hereby awards
the cantract for doin� said work and improvement to the lowest
responsible bidder, to-wit:-
r'RITZ Zl�:BARTH et the price named in his bid.
The City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
publish notice of this award twice in the Lynwood Tribune,
a weekly newspaper published and circulated in said City and
_hereby udesignated for.that._purpose by-said City �ouncil.
BE IT FURTA�R RESOLVED, that A.J.BATID4Ald, a competent
engineer, be and he is hereby appointed for the purpose of .
doing and furnisriing all of the civil engineering work snd ser-
vices neoessary to the proper perfornance of the improvement
as set forth in said 1?esolution of intention No. 688.
That the compeneation of said engineer be and the same
is hereby fixed at Your per cent l 4f ) of the am�unt of the con-
tract of the contractor doing eaid work, exclusive oY ell in-
