The. compensation to be naid to the Chief
of Police, Captain of Folice and Motor-
cycle Otficers shall be conditioned upon
the furnishing by said ofiicers of their
ot�vu autoniobiles and/or motorcycles in the
discharge of their respective duties, but
tne City of Lynwood shall maintain and
furnish supplies f'or such automobiles
and/or motorcycles.

Section 2. Except as to elected officers of' the said City o�
Lyniaood, the compensation of whom is otherwise fixed by la��, tne
con;pens�,tion £ixed in this Resolution sha.11 be the maxirraurn com-
pensation to be paid for tne respective services rendered in the
desi�nated places of employment in the public service of eaid
_City.of Lynwood and the exact.xa.tes of compensa;tion within the
limits of tne maximum rates�herein stated shall be fixed•by the
City Council of' the said City of' Lynr•�ood.
Secti�n 3. Said above compensation shall be Laid, cne hal£ (�) on
the fifteenth day of the month and one half (z) on the last day of
the rnor_th in tahich tne service �as� rendered, except the compensz,tior_
of the City Attorney and the Police Jud�e, which shall be paid on
