Be it resolved by
lhe City Cowicil oi the City of I,yndvood, California
i�1�IERF.�iS, has deemed it �vise and necessar;� to eng�ge the services of
Honorable Charles E. Day in the capacity of Police Judge of the City
of I,ynwood, Cow�ty of Zos Angeles, State of California and the said
Charles E. Day has consented to act in said capacity o� Police Judge
of said City of I,ynwood, at and for the eompensation of four hu.ncl.red
dollars (�400.00) for the period embrwcing the time from AUgust 26,
1930 to August 31, 1930, both days inclusive.
THERE�ORE B� IT RESOI,UED: That said Honorable Charles E. Day be, and
he is hereby employed by the City Council of the City of Lynwood to
serve in the cauacity of Police Judge of the City of Lynvaood at and
for the compensation of four hundred dollars (y�400.00) for the tieriod
embracing the time from August 26, 1930 to Auo st 31, 1930, both days
inclusive, and at the expiration of said time a warrani; be drawn on
the City Treasiuer oi the City of I,yr_vrood, California in favor of said
Charles E. Day for the said amount of four hundred dollars (�400.00)
in iu11 payment of the services of said Charles E. Day for the said
period of time, and
BE IT rUR^HER RESO�VED: That the said Honorable Charles �. Day be, and
he is her.eby employed from and after August 31, 1930 by the City Council
of the City of Zynv�ood, California, at its pleasure, in the capacity
of Police Judge of the said City of I,yn�vood, at�.and.°for the compensation
two hundred tv�enty-five dollars ��225.00) for each month, said comp-
ensation to be paid to said Charles E. Day at the end of' each month
for which the service is rendered.,

adoption by the City Council of the City o� Zynwood, California.
