CALL TO ORDER

The Council Work Session of June 16, 2003, was convened at 5:45 p.m. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Angle, Berry, Ferguson, Groner, Klindt, Viessman, Vogel, and Weber
Absent: Angle*
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
The following categories had items brought up for discussion:
BILLS INTRODUCED
2003 -38: Captain Jim Johnsen stated that a typographical error was found in "Exhibit A" to
this bill, and he distributed a corrected Exhibit and asked that the bill be amended at
Monday night's meeting.
2003 -41: Councilmen Berry stated he and Councilman Angle may send this issue back to
the Transportation and Traffic Commission.
BILLS PENDING
2003 -27: Councilman Dan Klindt stated this bill will be placed on the Informal Calendar to
continue fine tuning the language in it.
2003 -41: Councilman Clyde Angle submitted a motion to amend in the packets.

NEW BUSINESS
The Council discussed dates and times for public forums to meet candidates for Second
Ward Council seat. The felt Monday, June 23 at noon and 6:00 P.M. would be good times
to schedule these sessions.

Councilman Michael Berry stated that since Councilman Clyde Angle has arrived, he spoke
with him about Bill Introduced 2003 -41 and that they agreed to go ahead and introduce the
bill instead of sending it back to the Transportation and Traffic Commission.
Brown Bag work session rescheduling was discussed, and Council agreed to change to
12:00 noon on Thursday, July 3 because of the July 4 holiday. The complete packets may
not be ready at that time, but they can at least work through the agenda.
Mayor John Landwehr asked Council to begin thinking about how they want to do prison
redevelopment.
There were no official actions taken as this was a Work Session only.
The Work Session ended at 6:00 P.M.
