CALL TO ORDER

The Council Work Session of July 7, 2003, was convened at 5:45 p.m. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Angle, Berry, Ferguson, Groner, Klindt, Olsen, Viessman, Vogel, and
Weber
Absent: None
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
The following categories had items brought up for discussion:
BILLS INTRODUCED
2003 -49: Councilman Richard Groner stated he has problems with this ordinance, and felt
the city needs to change the way they bid and should not consider items after the bids are
opened that were not originally in the bid specifications Mayor John Landwehr asked
Finance Director Steve Schlueter to send a memo to the Council about the issue.
BILLS PENDING
2003 -36: Councilman Clyde Angle stated he is going to request that this bill be placed on
the informal calendar. A discussion was held regarding the process for a Council Member
who is not the sponsor to place a bill on the informal calendar.
NEW BUSINESS
Councilman Clyde Angle was asked to brief Council on those items he has placed under
New Business.
Mayor John Landwehr explained the reason he requested the discussion of sidewalks in
new subdivisions.
There were no official actions taken as this was a Work Session only.
