That a Special T�4unicipal Election be and the s�me is hereb;� called in said City on Thursday, the 9th . day of 9pri1, 1931, in accordance with the laws of the State of Cali£ornia, to determine ruhether the voters will recall Forrest Snod.grass, Jackson Tv�eedy and Lars Anderson as members of the City Council of the City of Lyncrood, and to elect successors thereof in case they shall be recalled, Section 2. That in general the said Forrest Snodgrass has not conducted himself as such member of said Board of Trustees for the best interests of the City of Zynwood and has been unfaithful to his truat", The reasons set forth in the petitions £or the recall of said Jackson Tweedy are as follows: "That the said member has favored unjust and unfair assossments in the City of Lynwood to the ex- tent that taxes and assessments in said city have become very burdensome to the people. That in general the said Jackson Tweedy has not conducted himself as such member of said Board of Trustees for the best interests of the Citg o£ Lynwood and has been unfaithful to his trust". The reasons set £orth in the petitions for the recall of said Lars Anderson are as £ollows: .. That in general the said Lars Anderson has not conducted himsel� as such member o£ said Board of Trusteea for the best interests of the City of Zynwood and has been unfaithflil to his trust", : In the event that said Forrest Snodgrass, Jackson Tweedy and Lars 9nderson shall desire to justify their conduct in said office and shall deliver to the C ity Clerk of said City their�statement of justification in writing, consisting of : not more than two,hundred words, before the ballots for said election are ready to be printed, as provided by law, such � statement shall also be printed on said ballots, Section 6. That egcept as herein provided, said Special ��nicipal �lection shall be held and conducted in the manner provided for general municipal elections in said �ity. � Section 7.
