On a motion by Huisman, seconded by Fairbanks, the meeting stood
adjourned.
Mayor
Special Meeting --April 16, 1973.
The council met in special session on April 30th, with Mayor
Eckhoff presiding and all council members present.
Purpose of the meeting was for the 2d reading of the resolution
for the exchange of certain property by the Town of Wellsburg and
Helen Riekena.
It was moved by Van Deest, 2d by Huisman, to waive the 2d and 3d
readings of the resolution. Carried.
Moved by Fairbanks, 2d by Heinrich, to adopt resolution for the
transfer of certain property under Ordinance #1003.
Roll call of votes--
Ayes-Huisman, Hippen, Heinrich, Fairbanks, Van Deest
Nays -None Absent -None Carried
The meeting stood adjourned.

Fairbanks seconded a motion made by Hippen to employ
Rick Penning
at a salary of $550 for the month of June and $600 per month beginning
July 1. Carried.
Mayor Eckhoff administered the oath to Rick Penning.
