CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of August 4, 2003, was convened at 5:45 p.m. by
President Pro Tempore Cliff Olsen in the absence of Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Angle, Berry, Gordon, Groner, Olsen, Viessman, Vogel, and Weber
Absent: Ferguson and Klindt
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
The following categories had items brought up for discussion:
CONSENT AGENDA
Item (g) — Sole Source Procurement: Councilman Richard Groner stated that he had
problems with this item and asked questions about it. Community Development Director Pat
Sullivan stated he did not have the information with him that would answer Councilman
Groner's questions. Councilman Groner asked if anyone from the Wastewater Division
would be at the meeting who could answer his questions, to which Mr. Sullivan replied "no."
Councilman Groner stated that in that case, he would give Mr. Sullivan a pass this time, but
stated that in the future if staff brings something like this up, they need to be sure and give
the Council the information they need so they will know what is going on.
INFORMAL CALENDAR
2003 -50: Councilman Clyde Angle stated this will remain on the Informal Calendar.
