1'VH�REAS: it has come to the atte.ntion of the City
Couneil of the City of �ynwood, by evidence offered in that
behalf, that on certain Lots of land in said City there ex-
ists dry and drying weeds which dry and drying grass on such
Zots caused great_damages to houses and structures in said
, Zynwood�Prom £ire and constitutes public nuisances, and that
such public nuisances should at once be abated under the pro-
. visions of an 9ct of the Zegislature of the State'o£ Calif-
ornia approved NIay 26, T915, Statutes 1915, page 841, as said
, act is amended, which said act is entitled: "An Act Author-
izing i�uniciprzlities to declare noxious or dangerous weeds
groc,ring upon the streets or sidewalks, or upon private property
within Municipalities, to be a public,,nuisance, creating.a. �-.... ,.-
l'ieri upon'"the `property fronting upon such streets or side-
walks or upon which such nuisance exists for the cost of .
abating the same, "which.act was approved h4ay 26, 1915. .�
AND 6�I�REAS: the Zots of land which such public
nuiaances e�ist are described as £ollows:-
NOlV, THER�FOR�, it is hereby resolved and declared by'
the City Council of the City of Zyn�vood, that the existence •
of dry and drying weeds on each of said Lots to be public
nuisa�.ces, and it is hereby orflered that such nuisances be
abatecl under the terms of that certain Act o3 the Zegislature
- of the State of California above mentioned, as amended,.and
the Street 5uperintendent of the City o£ Lynwood is directed �
to cause notices to be given and posted which are necessary
,. to be given arid posted as required by said Act, and this
Council hereby Yiges.the 3rd day of May, 1932,.at 8:00 o'clocik
- P.•Idf., and the Council Chamber of the Council of said City
locate,d at 11331 Plaza,.Street.in said.City of.Lyn�vood,.as the _
time and place of hearing all protests to the abatement of
said nuisanees which may be made in the premises.
Resolution No. 800 0£ said City Council is hereby
repealed.
