' ',GHEREAS; it has eome to the attention of the City
Gouncil of the City of Zynwood, by evidence o�f.ered in that
behalf, that on certain Zots.of land in said City there ex-
ists dry and drying weeds which dry and dryin� grass on such
Lots caused great damages to houses and structures in said
�ynwood from fire and constitutes publie nuisances, and that
such public nuisances should at once be abated under the pro-

visions of an act of I,egislature: of the State of � California,
approved I�4a.y 26, 1915, Statues 1915, page 841; as said act is
amended, which waid act is entitled:," An Act authorizing Mu.nici-
palities to declare noxious or dangerous weeds growing upon.the
streets or sidesaalks, or upon private property cvithin R4unici-
palities, to be a public nuisance, creatin��a Tien upon the
property fronting upon which such nuisance exists for the'cost
of abating the same,"whiah act was approved T;fay 26, 1915.
AND �,`HEREAS, the Lots of land upon which such public
nuisances exist are described as follows:-

�rOW, THER�rORE, it is hereb� resolved and declared by
the City Council of the City of Zyni*rood, that the existence oY
dry and drying weeds on each of said Lots to be pub�ic riuisances,
and it is hereby ordered that such nuisances be abated under the
terms of that certain I�et of the Legislature of the State of Cal-
ifornia above mentioned, as amended, and the Street Superintendent
of the City oY I,ynwood is directed to cause notices to be given
and posted which are necessary to be given and posted as r�i�,red

by said Act, and this Council hereby Yixes the 31st�day of �.N['ayfi

1933, at g�00 o'clock P. I�i. and the Council. Chamber.of the Councsil
oY said City located at 11331 Plaza Street in said City of I,yrnriood,
as the time and place of hearing all protests to the abatement af
said nuisances which may be made in the premises.
