WHEREAS, Moab City is planning .:Le creation of a City Board of
Recreation and for such purpose has set membership requirements as
recommended by the City Council,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That a City Board of Recreation be established persuant to
authority granted by the statutes of the State of Utah. Further
resolved that the board shall consist of five persons. Two members
of this board are to be selected from the Board of Education of the
Grand County.School District; One members from the Moab City Council;
One member from the Grand County Commission; and one member from a
civic or fraternal organization within the city or county and shall
serve for a period of five years; provided, that the members first
appointed shall be appointed for such terms that the term of one
member will expire annually thereafter. Vacancies in the board
Occurring otherwise than be expiration of term shall be filled in the
same manner as original appointments for the unexpired term. The
members of this recreation board shall serve without compensation.
CERTIFICATION
The undersigned, City Recorder for Moab City, a municipal corporation
of the State of Utah, hereby certifies that the foregoing is a true
and correct copy of a resolution duly adopted and passed by the Moab
City Council at a regular metting on the 4Woh day of October, 1958,
and that said resolution has neither been rescindid nor modified.
