A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO HILLYARD INC. IN
THE AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $14,000 FOR THE PURCHASE OF CUSTODIAL
SUPPLIES FOR THE REMAINDER OF FISCAL YEAR 2010-2011
WHEREAS, on March 14, 2011 the City received custodial supplies quotations
from three companies; and
WHEREAS, the intent of the request for quotation is to receive considerable
price reductions based on bulk purchasing.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes staff to issue a purchase order to
Hillyard Inc. to purchase custodial supplies in the amount-not-to exceed $14,000 for the
remainder of fiscal year 2010-2011.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5 day of April, 2011.
