A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE ASSIGNMENT OF CONTRACT
AMONG THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CURBSIDE INC., AND WASTE MANAGEMENT
CURBSIDE, LLC
WHEREAS, the State of California provides annual funding for the City's Used
Oil Block Grant program; and
WHEREAS, this program allows the City through Curbside Inc., to provide door-
to-door collection service of used and recycled oil; and
WHEREAS, Curbside, Inc is being purchased by Waste Management Curbside,
LLC; and
WHEREAS, an Assignment of Contract must be executed among the City,
Curbside, Inc. and Waste Management Curbside, LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Assignment to
Contract between the City of Lynwood, Curbside Inc. and Waste Management
Curbside, LLC .
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5 day of April, 2011.
