CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2014-79
A RESOLUTION APPROVING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND DECLARING THE
RESULTS OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 4, 2014
WHEREAS, a Municipal Election was held at the General Election on Tuesday,
November 4, 2014, to vote on the offices of Mayor, two 4-year Council Members, and a Special
Election for Council Member to fill vacancy in term expiring January 2, 2017; and the official
returns of the election judges were presented; and
WHEREAS, said returns were duly examined, approved, and placed on file in the Office
of the City Clerk; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina
that it is hereby found, determined, and declared that the Regular Municipal Election held in and
for the City of Medina on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 was in all respects duly held and the
returns thereof have been duly canvassed, the votes cast at said election were:
MAYOR, Two-year term, beginning the first Monday of January 2015.
Bob Mitchell Received 1,204 Votes
John Anderson Received 1,155 Votes
Write -Ins Received 9 Votes
Undervotes Received 204 Votes
Overvotes Received 2 Votes
Total 2,574 Votes
COUNCIL MEMBER, Four-year term, Two Seats, beginning the first Monday of
January 2015.
Kathleen M. Martin Received 1,252 Votes
Todd M. Albers Received 1,035 Votes
Lorie Cousineau Received 1,167 Votes
