DISTRICT N0, 4 OF THE CITY OF LYN4YOOD,
ORDER DIR�CTING PREPARATIOSd OF SPECIFICATIONS. �
WI�REAS: The public interest and necessity require the
aequisition and improvement hereinafter set forth;
NOL9, THEREFO��, BE IT RESOZVED, THAT Robert B. Miller,
s public officer to-wit; the City Engineer o£ the City of
Zynwood, is hereby appointed Engineer of 4Bork and designated
and direc�ed to prepare and furnish SPrCIFICATI0TIS for the
proposed acquisition and improvement of PEACH STHE�T and
NORTON AVENUE (sometimes known as the Dovrney and Los �ngeles
Road) as hereinafter described, said SP�CIFIC@TIONS to
include descriptions of ell propertq to be acquired, together
with a map or plat showing the same, and all pla.ns, profiles,
`'crosssections and specifications necessary for the improvement,
together with a stater�ent of the estimated cost of the same
(inclusive of incidental expenaea and c,oats of the proceedings),
and also a description of the proposed diatrict to be benefited
by said acquisition and improvement and to be known as the
"Assessment District"�, and a map or plat shov�ing the same; the
said district to be known as "Acquisition and Improvement
District No, 4 0£ the City of Lynvrood.
' Said acquisitiona and improdenents include the folloming:
First: That Peach Street, from Lynwood to Flower Street,
be opened, widened, egtended and improved with certa.in concrete
. pavement, certain concrete sidewalk and certain concrete curb.
Second: That Yeach Street, from Beechv�ood to Tdorton
9venue;�pened, �idened, extended and improved with certain
concreto pa.vement and certain concrete curb,
Third: That Norton 9venue, from the easterl� line of Tract
No, 5� Long Beach Boulevard, be opened, cuidened, extended
and improved with certain rock macadam pavement, certain con-
crete sidewalk arid certain concrete curb.
Said improvement include the following:
E'irst: That Peach Street, between a line 5,00 feet
sontherly from and parallel to the northerly line o£ Fernwood
Avenue, and the southerly line o£ Beechv✓ood Avenue, be im-
proved with certain concrete �bavement,
