' !'vHEREAS, tho City Council and Board of Trustees of the �ity of
Lynwood by Ordinance No. 90 duly called and provided for the holdino
of a special election to be held in said city on October 22, 1927, for.
the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said city the
proposition set Yorth in said ordinance and hereinaf'ter stated; and
?I'rIEREnS, notice of said election was duly given in time, form
and manner as provided by lav�r and said electiou was on said date held
at the City Hall in said City between the hours of six o'clock A. P:1.
and seven o'c�ock P. P;4., and said election was duly and legally held
and c,onductsd and the votes cast thereat eanvassed and the returns
thereof made at the time and in the manner and forn� provided by '
law; and �
IxJHLREAS, on this the.Z4th day of October, 1927, the first
Ie4onday after said election, at 7:30 o'clock P. Ivi., sa.id. City �ouncil
and Board oY Trustees of said City of Lynwood have duly assembled`�
in regular meeting at the usual place of ineeting of said Council and
Board in the City Hall in said city, and have canvassed said returns
of said election:

Trustees of said City of I,ynwood tnat a special election, for the
purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said city the said
proposition hereinafter set forth, ivas duly called and ordered to be
held on Octobor 22, 1927, by"said Ordinance No. 90 and that notice
of said eleotion was duly given in time, form and manner.as provided
by law, and that said election was on said October 22, 1927, duly
and legally held and eonducted and the votes cast, thereat canvassed
and the returns thereo� made at the time and in the form�and manner
required by law.; and
BE IT FURTHE� RESOLVED that-the proposition sot Porth in said
Ordinance No. 90 and voted upon at said electiosr was:
Shall the City of Lynwood incur a bonded debt of'FIFTY THQUSAidD
DOLLARS (�p50,000.00) for the purpose of the aequisition, construction'
� and completion by_the �ity of Zynwood of a certain municipal im-,
provement; to-wit: The construction of a city hall f'or the
purpose of housing oYfices of the various city officials and em-
ployees., and fire fighting equipment and personnel? and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from said retnrns it appears and
this Council and Board finds that the whole numbsr of votes cast in
said City of Lynvaood at said election was 475y, tnat the total number
of votes cast in Consolidated Voting Precinct A(which comprised the
entire city) was 475; that the number of votes cast in said City and.
� precinet for said proposition was 335; that the numbsr of votes cast
: in said city and precinet against said proposition was 140; and
BE IT FURTNER P.ESOI,VED that the votes of more than two-thirds .
of all the voters voting at said election v�ere cast in.favor of the
adoption of said proposition, and said proposition is hereby de-
, elared to be carried and the City Council and Board of Trustees of
' said City is authorized to issue bonds therefor provided by ]z w;
and
BE IT FURTH�R RESOZV�D tnat the votes oY more than two-thirds"
of all the voters voting at said election were cast in-favor of the
adoption o£ said proposition,,and said proposition,is hereby,declared
to be carried and the City Council and Board oi Trustees of said city
is authorizsd to issuo bonds tnerefor as provided by law.
