A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN THE
REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
TO TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS FOR THE SANITARY SEWER
INTERCEPTOR PROJECT
Whereas, The City of Tiffin desires to purchase real estate and obtain easements
described on the attached exhibits; and,
Whereas, the City of Tiffin wishes to make an offer for such real estate and easements
also shown as an attachment to this resolution.
Now, therefore be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa authorizes
the Mayor and City Clerk, to execute the attached offer and execute all necessary
documents and to take all necessary actions for the sanitary sewer interceptor project.
On the 2ND day of August, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-070, A
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN THE REAL
ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND
TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS FOR THE SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR
PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson
Havens.
Ayes: Limkemann, Orris, Olney, Havens, Schnedler.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2022-070, A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN THE REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT
AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS FOR
THE SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR PROJECT to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 2nd day of August, 2022.
