CALL TO ORDER
The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of February 2, 2004, was convened at 5:45 p.m.
by Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Angle, Berry, Ferguson, Gordon, Groner, Klindt, Olsen, Viessman,
Vogel, and Weber
Absent: None
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Public Hearings: Mayor Landwehr stated he would like Council to consider taking up Bill
2003 -156 immediately after the public hearing on this matter is concluded.
Announcements of upcoming meetings and events: Mayor Landwehr will make a report
on the status of the Fourth of July event.
Mayor Landwehr stated he wanted to move the New Business item (scheduling a meeting
of the Convention & Conference Center Committee) to the "Announcements of upcoming
meetings and events" category.
Closed Session: Mayor Landwehr stated that since the bids on the Gundelfinger property
were opened, he wants to go ahead and take up any discussion about those two bids in
open session. He thinks it would be best not to even include "real estate" in the closed
session tonight to avoid confusion. He stated if the Council decided to bring up the issue
in a closed session, they could schedule it for a future meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
