ORDER APPOINTING PER$ON TO PREPARE AND
FURNISH 3PECIFICATION$. �
ROBERT B. �iILLER, a competent person, is hereby appointed
for the purpoae of preparing and,furniehin� apecificatione in
connection with the contemplated opening, widening end improv=
ing oY Elmauood Avenue, (part oY which is now a public way and
� part of which is to be acquired in thie prooeeding) Bellinger
` 8treet, Eernv�ood 6venue, Norton Avenue and certain �d�acen�
parts of public ways lntersecting eaid vgrious public avays
- herein named, frora the easterly line:of the Southern.Pacific .
Railroad Company's right of way to a line 25 feet more or lese
Easterly from and parallel to the VPesterly line of VYright Road,
se the eame is ahoivn on a map of Tract 8300, recorded in Book 115,
at Page 57 of Maps, Recorda oY Los Angeles County, California,
(except that thst portion oP eaid Elmwood Avenue, lying between
a line 740 feet Easterly Yrom and parallel to the Easterly line
of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company�s right oP way and a
line 805 Yeet 9Pesterly from and parallel to the VGesterly line oY
Modjeska Avenue is to be widened but not improved.and neither
acquisition nor improvement work is to be done on the right oY
way_of the PaciYic Electric Ra.ilroad Company near the center of
said.excepted portion,,.including.,a deacription of. sll property , �
to be acquired, together with a map or plat showing the same,

(which expensea shall include tYie estimated amount chargeable to
the plaintiff in the condemnation action and the estimated inci— .

sections and epecificationa necessary for the improvement of the
said streets, consieting oY grading, pa,ving portione of the same,
installing gutters, sidewalks and curbs, and the extension of
san3tary sewer connections, together with a etatement of the ea—
timated.cost oY the im rovement, (inclusive of incidental expensea
and cost of prooeeding�, a description of the district to be bene-
Pitefl'� by the proposed acquisition and improvement and a map or
plat ehowing the same and also.the diPYerent zones within said
dietrict (if any are necessarq because of varying benefits, con—
tainin� the landa to be benefited in like manner but in a di3fer—
ent measure from those in other zones therein, with a statement
ae to what'peicentage oY the sum to be raised eaoh year, for the
paymenta on principal and interest of bonde, should be raised
� from each zone. The eaid specifications sha11 ahow the grades
to which the contemplated improvements are to be constructed.
