IN THE MATTER OF ACQUISITION 11ND IIviP°OVEMENT DISTRICT N0..19

WHEREAS, the specifications for Acquisition and Imorovement
District'No. 19 of the City of Lynwood, heretofore and to-wit, on
' the 7th day of February, 192E3, approved by this board o£ trustees
•are incomplete and erroneous in certain technical particulars,
and it is the desire of this Board of Trustees (noiv known as the
City Council) of the said city, to correc,t and nodi£y said speci-
fications, and ,
' WFiEREA5, a req_uest has been made of the Board of Supervisors
of the Count,y of Los Ange�es for its consent to the doing ofthe
acquisitions and imr.rovemepts �iescribed'in said specifications ap-
proved h,q thi.s 4oard cf Tru.stees onthe 7th da,y of Februar,y, 1928,

' 1, That the specif'ic�tions for Acquisition and Improvement
District No. 19 0£ the City of Lynwood ap��roved by this Board of
Trustees on the 7th da,y of February, 1928, be corrected and modi-
fied in the £ollowing particulars:

(a). Endorse on Sheet 1 of Plan 510 the following with the -
portion setting forth the legend :"At intersections f,or which no
' specific cross-section is drawn, the cross-section is determin-
ati3e from the detail of grades, shown therefor on the profile".
(b). Endorse on Sheet 1 of Plan S10 the follovririg note with
reference to the datum planer ° TYie said grade is herebu fixed for
the purpose of reference b,y a bench mark on the south end of the
curb return on the southeasterly corner of Oakwood Avenue and Mod-
jeska Avenue in the City of Lynwood (said mark being a chiselled
cross and circle on th.e top.of said curb)
vrhich said mark is 90.420 feet above the said datum plane of the
United States Geological Sur.vev., . , - :. .
(c) On �heet 2 of P?.�n 510 rhange the,coloring from a line
103 feet west of t' 'cer.ter l.i:re of' i�Rodieslta'Avenue to a line

(e) On Sheet 2 of Plan 510..between Stations 43 plus 22.5
and 44 plus 67.50 and between Station 51 plus 59.96 and Station
53 plus 50.96, remove the color to indicate gutters and show
"that tYie gutter spaces are to be'pa.ved vrith'strai�ht 8 inch
Portl�nd cement concrete pavement.
(f) On Sheet 3 of Plan 510 make a special note under
. typical section covering the space between Station 78 pl�zs
75.25 cand Station 83 plus 38 that -the total width is 103.5
feet instead of l00 feet as shown on the cross-section arid _
tYiat the added 'S.5 feet is along the north side between the�
curb and the sidewalk betrveen the above limits..
