!^.rHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South Uate, California,
a municipal corporation lying within the County of Los ?.ngeles, did
on the 20th day of Pfiarch, 1928, approve the specifications for
certain acpuisitions and improvements in the matter of Acquisition
. and ImproveMent District Tv 1 of'the said �ity, and I��HER�AS, the •
said specifications so filed navs since been corrected and modified,
and
ti"!;?EREAS, tha said City Council did on the 29th day of T:?arch,
1928, r,equest tlie consent of this City Council to the acquisitions of
c�rtain streets or portions thersof pr.oposed to be acquired under
the said proceedings and vahich lie within the boun'd.aries of the City
oY Zynwood, and to the making of'.certain improvements and the doing
of certain work within the boundaries of the �ity of' LJnwood, all
as shownt�on the said specifications so corrected and modii'ied and
the plans which constmtut"e a thsreof and which v�ere so approvsd,
and to the inclusion in the proposed assessment district of certain
territory lying within the bou.nflaries of tkie City of I,ynwood and to
- the assessment of property witnin the boundaries of said proposed
assessment district �vhich lies within the boundaries of the �ity
of Lynwood, which said request was and is evidenced by a certifi'ied
eopy of the said resolutior_ together with a copy of the specificatiors
as corrected and modified for the said acquisi.tions and improvements
which had theretofore been filed �vith the City Clerk of the
City of South Gate, and

witn ths things to done thereunder,

of I,ynwood,.California,.that tlie public interost, convenience and .
necessity require the a'cquisitions and improvements set f'orth in and •
described in, and to the extent and in'the mani.er set forth by the
said specifieations so corrected and modifisd and approved by the
City Council of the City of South Gate, on the 29th day of ?��?arch,
1928, and that the conseut of this City Council is hereby given to
the acquisitions of thoso certain streets or portions thsreot'pro-
posed to be acquired under t'rie said proceedirgs and tivhieh lie w�ithin
the boundaries of the City of I,ynn•JOOd, and likewise to the making
of' the improvements and the doing of the vrork within tlie boundaries �

all proceedings necessary or proper ior the purpose oY consummating
the same, all in accordance with the provisions of the."Acquisition

the Clerk of this City Council is hereby dirscted to certify and
