Work Session - Call to Order 6:30 PM
A. Roll Call
The City of Tiffin City Council held a work session Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the City Hall Council
Chambers. Mayor Pro-Tem Havens called the meeting to order at 6:33 PM. Upon roll being called the
following members were present: Al Havens, Skylar Limkemann, Chris Olney, Eric Schnedler, Tim Orris.
Absent: Mayor Berner. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt, City Clerk Abigail Hora, Fire Chief
Brad Hill and Building Official Brian Shay.
B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve by Olney.
Second by Orris.
All ayes, agenda approved.
C. Discussion and Consideration of Fire Department/Building Department position for the City of
Tiffin
Discussion: Building Official Brian Shay and Fire Chief Brad Hill present to discuss the position.
D. Questions from Council Members regarding items on the Regular City Council Agenda

Chamber. Mayor Pro-Tem Havens called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM. Upon roll being called the
following members were present: Al Havens, Chris Olney, Skylar Limkemann, Eric Schnedler, Tim Orris.
Absent: Mayor Berner. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Clerk Abigail Hora.

2. City Council Reports Discussion: Council Person Olney attended the library board meeting.
Council Person Havens attended the Clear Creek Watershed meeting.
3. Report Discussion: Public Works Director Brian Detert reported
public works completed warming shed for the ice rink that will be used this winter. New public
works truck was delivered Friday.
4. Building Official Report - Discussion: Building Official Brian Shay reported Hunt Club has put
in foundations for phase 3. First permit for Anderson Addition came in last week.
5. s Report - Discussion: Recreation Director Frank Haege reported all fall
sports are in full swing. He received ballfield quotes for the new fields and would like them to be
ready for Spring 2023.
