i'^iF�REAS, the t3oard of Trustees of the City of 8outh Ga�e
has adopted the follo��ing resolution, to-iRit:

AS FJLLO�'f�: THAT
1YHEREA5, the terxitory of the Home Garden Fire District, in
the Count,y of LosAnbeles, has been by aimexatian proceedings becoL��e in-
corporated into the cities of South Gate and Lyiirrood, so that no nart
of said Fire District eniats outside of the tt�o said cities; and
i�!?�REAS, under the law the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Los An�eles is now ready to divide the unexpended balance o� funds
raised in s�.id District by taxation on property taerein to support the
Fire District aforesaid bete�eeiz the said ti�o cities,_�__�

Soard of Trustees or Counciir.nen, a�rees th�t if the Board of Trustees of

tllat tne Board of Suoervisors oi the County of Los 4 ngeles pay over to
the City of South Gate the �ahole of said unexpended balance, the City
of South Gate r ta?:e char�e of the a�fairs of the entire�ori�inal �
�iome GarGens Fire pistrict, both in South Gate and Lynivood, and �ive
adequate fire protection to the people and property within said Diel;rict
until the lst day of January, 1929, 4vheiz, as it is estimated, sucn funds
t�i11 have been exnended.

the terms and conditior.s thereof, as appear therein.
