iiT�REAS, this�City Council ,. adopted.its Resolution of
Intention in.the matter of �lequisition and Improvement District N0.
' 23 of the City of Zyn�vood,. on the.7th.day o£ 9ugust, 1928, and at t.
the hour and place fixed �therein for the hearing of any and a11
abjections or protests, �hich, under the provisions of the "Acqui-
sition and Improvement Act of 1925" can be presented to this City
Gouncil, sqid council continued said hearing untill the 29th day o£ •
August, 1928 at the hour of 8o'clockP.M., o£ said day last mention-
. ed and at said day and hour 18.st mentioned, took up the mstter of.
hearing the same; amd
r;HFREA5, at a.time not later than the last mentioned hour
set for said hearing�, no oc�ners of.land within the boundaries of
the assessment di.strict, as the s�.me are set £orth in'said Resolu-
tion of Intention, filed �aith the Clerk of this i;ity Council
vrritten objections to tne doing of the thin� or things in said
..„•Resolution of-Sntention proposed to be done in�their entirety,
and to`�:the ordering of the same, and no objec mrritten or .
oral, have been made to the doinc of the said things so proposed
to be done, and to the grades to v�hicn said improvements are
proposed to be constructed, and to_the extent of tne assessr.:ent
district, and to the zones into rahich said district is divided, and
to the.proposed percentages to be raised therefrom, as set forth
in said Resolution of Intention; and'

1, It is £ound that the orrners of more than one-half of th -
the area of the propert5* included within the assessr.:ent dis-
trict, as described in the Resolution of Intention heretofore ad,o-
pted in this matter on the 7th day of 2ugust, 19`L8 , and in the
specif-icati�ons therefor referre�..to ir_,said itesoluti_on ., have not m
made «ritten objectvons going to �the entirety of the thing or thing
therein pmoposed to be done or to the ordering of the"same;
2, That no protests or objections either erritten or oral,
again.st the doing,o3 the thing of �}�ingS'=proposed to be done in
said Resolution of Intention, ��ere made:
3, That the Extent and boundaries of the assessment
. district fcr said 4cpuisition nnd Improvement District T�o. 23 of
the City of Zynwood , as proposed in said Resolution of Intention,
are hereby �dopted_and. established as t�e e�tent and boundarics

find that the said district includes the property vahich rrill be b^nefited
by the doing of the thing or things proposed to be done;

4. �Phat the zones into vahieh said assessment district is to be
divided., as proposed_in�said Resolution of Intention �:rid as shown in�the
specifications therein referred to, clearly reflect the benefits to be
derived, and that the zones ae set forth in said Resolution are Uhereby
adopted and established, and it is hereby found that each zone is composed
of the lands within said district.tivhich tiaill be benefited in like measure,
but in a dif£erent measure from any other zone therein.
. 5 That the percentages of the sum to be r�,ised each year,by...
the levy and collection of special assessment taxes from each of said zones
are hereby determined and adopted as the sar�e are set forth in said Re-
solution of Intention,and said City Couricil nereby finds tnat the said
percentages of the amount to be r�ised ineach such zone �oes best in its �
judgment re£lect the beneiits to be derived by the parcels of land includ
-ed therein: _ �
6'. That the grade or grades to c�hich said improvements and•�rorY,
are to be constructed, as £inally,detern:ined hereby, are tnose set iorth
in the plans and specifications �.nd referred to in said hesolution of In-
tention. . ,
7, It is hereby further found that the i�:provement comprehended „
by the proceeding, and as set zorth in said Resolutionof lntention, ss
xequired by the public interests,.oconvenience and necessity: and that in �
the judgment of said City Council the said improvemeat is necessary and
_proper to complete, con.nect iaith, and render greater use to the public,
certain existing public �rays and improvements in the City o£ Lyn�ood and
also the imu'"ovements contemplated in this procee.ding :�ith in said City of.
Lynr�ood.
