t^7'drREliS, the City of South Gate has been requested�to initiate
proceedings under the "Acquisition and Improvement Act o�' 1925" for
the acquisition and improvement of Tweedy Road,-between Atlantic
Avenue and the westerly roadvaay of Alameda Street, said acquisition
and improvemEnt including.the widening of said Tv�eedy Road to a
" width of beti^�een 78.OG and 80.00�feet, and the iinp'rovement of same
with ceMei�t curbs, cement sidewalks, concrete p2vement and an orna-
mental.lighting system, ard
WHEREAS, a portion of said acquisition and improvement lies
v�ithin said City o:f I,ynwood, . •
NOti'J THEREFORE,. BE IT ?tESOZUF'D by the Council .of the dity of
Lynwood, California, '
�. (1) That the publi:e intsrest and nocessity require the acqui=
. sition and_imProvoment above set f orth;. -. - �
, (2) That, tl}e cor_ssnt of the Council of the City of I,gnwood is
� hereby given to the said acquisition and to the construction of said.
improvements on that portion of Tweedy Road lying vaithin the City of
, Lynwood;
(�) That tke consent of the Council of the Oity of I,ynwood is
hereby given to the inclusion of such lands within the City of I,yn-
�v�ood �vhich will be'benefited.by said acquisition.and. improvement,in
• the assessment district therefor; and
(4) That the coi:sent of the Council.of the City of LJn�vood is
hei°eUy given to the corrunancemerit of tr�e �iroceedir,gs by tYie legislative
body of the of South Gate, and the exercising of exclusive
jurisdictior_ of said legislative body over all proceedings necessary
thereto for the purpose of consummating the a11 in accordance
with the provisions of the Acquisition and Improvement.Act of 1925,
as amendod; and
