CALL TO ORDER
The Council "Brown Bag" Work Session of April 30, 2004, was convened at 12:05 P.M. by
Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Berry, Brown, Crane, Harvey, Martin and Patterson
Absent: Ferguson, Viessman, Vogel, and Weber
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Appointments
Mayor John Landwehr distributed a list of the appointments he would recommend, and
asked if any Council Members would prefer to switch with someone else on the list, to get
with him before Monday night to discuss it.
Bills Pending
Bill 2004 -1: Mayor John Landwehr and some Council Members had some questions
regarding some of the proposed amendments. Based on their questions and suggestions,
City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus stated he would prepare a substitute bill to address their
concerns to be handed out Monday night at the pre- meeting.
New Business
Councilman Brian Crane stated he had received some calls regarding the "lap swim"
sessions at Memorial Pool. Parks & Recreation Director Bill Lockwood said he would check
into the issue and get some information to Councilman Crane.

Closed Session
Mayor John Landwehr stated he would like to add the category "Real Estate" to the closed
session for Monday night.
No official actions were taken since this was a work session only.
The meeting adjourned at 12:40 P.M.
