The bank balance as of Jan. 5, 1951, was reported as $8,659.62.
The Town Clerk reported that the water meter readings were as follows:

Resolution: The Mayor F1.I�r��oopM1le��ceorted that it was impossible
to get the aluminum body„origina fy planned, before March 1951; how-
ever Joe Blank Motors agreed to furnish a steel body at a total cost
of 00.00, above the original estimate. Said steel body to contain
our requirements, and is sipiilar to ours currently in use. Further-
more Joe Blank Motors agreed to deliver before'January 29, 1951, or
our order is subject to cancellation.
The Commissioners approved the payment of the attached list of bills.
The meeting was then adjourned to continue further discussion of
several important matters at luncheon.
The meeting reconvened at the Mayor's home for luncheon, with present
as guests, the Town Council, Mr. C. Y. Byrd, and Mr. James Riley.
Mr. Riley was representing Bessemer Properties.
The question of enforcing the ordinance excluding buses and buses
from travel on AlA, was discussed.
The matter of a gift of land from Bessemer Properties, as possible
future site for a Town Hall, was discussed.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

discussed and apwoved by all present, including Mr. Byrd, and
Mr. Riley.
