CALL TO ORDER
The Council "Brown Bag" Work Session of May 14, 2004, was convened at 12:05 P.M. by
Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Berry, Brown, Crane, Harvey, Martin and Patterson, and Viessman
Absent: Ferguson, Vogel, and *Weber (arrived as meeting was adjourning)
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Bills Pending
Bill 2004 -11: Councilman Brian Crane had questions about recreational vehicles and
vehicles who need to park temporarily while taking care of business in the city. City
Counselor Nathan Nickolaus stated there will be a substitute bill distributed Monday to
make a minor amendment.
Unfinished Business
Mayor John Landwehr explained the items listed under Unfinished Business.
Mayor Landwehr asked the Council if they wished him to reconstitute the Storm Water
Advisory Committee. He suggested that Councilman Martin may wish to be on it since he
is the Chairman of the Public Works & Planning Committee, and also suggested that
Finance Director Steve Schlueter and Community Development Director Pat Sullivan serve
on it as well. He asked the Council to think about who else would like to serve and get back
with him.
Councilman Brian Crane asked if the Council Rules Review committee would be
reconstituted as well. Mayor John Landwehr stated if that is the Council's wish, he will

appoint new members from the new Council, and asked those interested in serving to let
him know.
*Councilman Bob Weber arrived at 12:20 P.M.
No official actions were taken since this was a work session only.
