CALL TO ORDER
The Council "Brown Bag" Work Session of June 4, 2004, was convened at 12:00 P.M. by
Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Berry, Brown, Crane, Harvey, Martin and Patterson, Viessman, Vogel,
and Weber
Absent: Ferguson
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Bills Introduced:
2004 -15 - All Council Members present stated they wished to co- sponsor Bill 2004 -15
pertaining to opting out of the state sales tax holiday.
2004 -23 - A discussion was held about approving Bid 2142 because the two items are
associated. It was agreed it would be best to approve the bid contingent upon passage of
associated Bill 2004 -23.
2004 -27 - The City Clerk was asked to correct the sponsorship to show Councilman Bill
Patterson as sponsor.
Bills Pending:
2004 -14 - City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus stated there will be a substitute bill distributed
Monday night before the meeting which will amend the contract, but not the bill.
Informal Calendar:
Bill 2004 -11 - Councilman Brian Crane distributed a substitute and asked Council

Members to look it over before Monday night's meeting.
Other Discussions:
The City Clerk was asked to add a Closed Session to the agenda for the purpose of
discussing litigation and real estate.
No official actions were taken since this was a work session only.
The meeting adjourned at 12:30 P.M.
