CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 2015-21
RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE THREE RIVERS PARK DISTRICT
BAKER/CARVER REGIONAL TRAIL MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, the Medina City Council recognizes that the development of a regional trail
connecting Baker Park Reserve to Carver Park Reserve would be a benefit to residents of Medina;
and
WHEREAS, Three Rivers Park District has gathered data, conducted research and obtained
public input concerning the costs and benefits of the development of such a trail, all as documented
in the Baker/Carver Regional Trail Master Plan, a copy of which has been presented to and
reviewed by the Council; and
WHEREAS, the Council is supportive of the efforts of Three Rivers Park District to
proceed with the development and management of the trail.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina that
the city of Medina supports the Baker/Carver Regional Trail Master Plan and recommends that
Three Rivers Park District manage and develop the trail as set forth in the Master Plan.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Anderson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Anderson, Cousineau, Martin, Mitchell, Pederson
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
