The meeting of the Town Council was held Wednesday morning at
9 o'clock, April 12, 1950, at the Gulf Stream Gol' Club.
Present were Mr. L. Seton Lindsay, Mayor, Mr. Wm. T. Jebb,Jr.,
Vice - Mayor, and Mr. Wm. J. Bauer, Town Clerk and Tax Collector.
The minutes of the meeting held March 8, 1950 were read'and approved.
Police Officer Cooper reported the radio installed in the police oar
helps him give more efficient service since he can now send and receive
messages on it.
A motion was proposed, seconded, and carried for Mayor Lindsay to
do what he thinks best when he finds out more details as to occasional
or monthly maintenance of the radio in the police car.
It was reported by Mr. Bauer that three bottles of water had been
taken from the same tap on the same day and sent to be analyzed.
The report showed two all right for drinkina, purposes - one not
all right.
Commissioner Seton Lindsay reported that he found out that the
value of the pipes carrying; water that had been given to the Town
by the Bessemer Properties, Inc., cost „30,000 to lay.
The following bills which have been paid since the last meeting
held on March B. were approved:
