CALL TO ORDER
The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of July 6, 2004, was convened at 5:45 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Berry, Brown, Crane, Ferguson, Harvey, Martin, Viessman, Vogel, and
Weber
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Bills Pending:
2004 -29 - Councilmen Weber, Harvey, Viessman, Vogel, and Crane requested to be added
as co- sponsors to this bill.
2004 -31 - Councilman Michael Berry stated if the Council can reach an agreement on the
language, he would prefer to go ahead and vote on this bill tonight, and stated he would offer
amendments to the bill to reach consensus. Councilman Kevin Brown stated he planned to ask
Councilman Berry to place this bill on the Informal Calendar. Councilman Berry suggested a
special Council Meeting before the next Regular Meeting to take this issue up. Other Council
Members also suggested a work session to discuss amendments, but that the bill should be
voted on at the next regular meeting. Mayor John Landwehr asked the Council Members to be
thinking about dates for a work session if that is their wish.
No official actions were taken since this was a work session only.
The meeting adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
