The meetinf og the Town Commissioners of the Town of Gulf Stream,
Florida, was held at the Town Hall on June 14th,1950 at 9 a.m.
Present; 1''iayor Commissioner L. Seton Lindsay and Town Clerk Comm-
issioner Wm.J. Bauer
The minutes of the previous meeting held on May 10th,1950 was
read and approved.
The Commissioners approved a tentative budget on an assessment roll
of, $1,360,820 .
The Town clerk and Mayor reported that they personally had gone
over the assessed valuations of all property in the Town of Gulf
Stream, including increases because of new buildings and had
assessed properties at $1,360,820 net. as per list available for
inspection in the Town Hall.
The Town Clerk reported that the assumed iname for Water Sales,
Road & Bridge District and the Florida Power & Light Company
to be $3,893.15• He also reported that the total expenses to be
expected for the ensuing year to be $12,737.48.
With these figures before the Town Commission the attached
tentative budget was approved calling for a tax rate of 6 J mills
and ordered to be posted at the Town Hall for public inspection
and with a notice attached that the Town Council would sit as a
Board of Equalization on July 12th at 9 a.m.
The Tom Commission approved an agreement with the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida for fire protection for the Tom of Gulf Stream, to
run from April 18th,1950 for one year.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
