The minutes of the Tom Commissioners of the Town of Gulf Stream
Florida, was held at the Town Hall on July 12th,1950 at 9 a.m.
present; Mayor Commissioner L. Seton Lindsay and Town Clerk
Commissioner Wm.J. Bauer.
The minutes of the previous meeting held on June 14th,1950
was read and approved.
The Commissioners approved a bid from Jack E. Carver for patching
and repairing various roads and streets in the Town, amounting
to $180.00

The Commissioners approved and instucted Officer E.W. Cooper to
have installed on the police Car a new Generator to cost approx-
imatily $100.00. this new and larger generator being needed in
order to prop_rly operate the police Radio Set.
The Commissioners approved Officer E.W.Copper taking a vacation,
he to advise Commissioner Wm.J.Bauer when he plans to take off.
On motion duly made and s econded, the Town Commissioners ad-
journed its regular meeting and sitting as a Board of Equaliz-
ation considered the tentative budget which had been approved
at the Town Commissioneru meeting held June 14th,1950, which
tentative budget had been duly posted at the Tom Hall for over
15 days.
As no Taxpayer or voter raised any objection to the Tentative
Budget in person or by mail, it was moved and seconded that the
Budget as posted be adopted and that the Budget be certified to
the Tax Collector and that the tax rate of 6 1/2 mills be
approved.
There being no further business , the meeting adjourned.
