THE BOARD OF TRUSTFES OF iHE CITY OP' ZYId',VOOD P,OES RESOLVE AS FOI,ZOWS ; . _ . . . . • SECTION l: That the improvement herein described is required by the public interest and convenience, and the Board of Trustees of tne City of Lynwood having at the time set forth in Rosolution ol Intention No. 58 received no protests or objeotions against said work of improvement or against the extent of the district to be assessed for said work of improvement as set forth_in Resolution of Intention No. 58, does hereby order the v of improvement as contemplated in said Resolution o£ Intention Tvo. 58, to-wit: �' First: That a11 of the roadway of Josephine Street from the westerly boundary line of the City of Zynwood to the �vest line of I,ong Beach Boulevard, be graded and paved to the official line and grade with oil macadam pavement four (4) inches in thickness, in. accordance with Flan No. 345, and:in further accordance with Speci- fications I�o. 5 for street paving with oil macadam pavemsnt in the City of Zy mvood. Second: That a cement curb designated as Class "B" curb des- cribed in the hereinafter referred to speci�ications be constructed along both lines of the road�va;� o£ Josephine Street from the.westenly; . boundary,line oi_,the City of I,ynwood to the cv,esterly line_, of Zong. Beach Boulevard. The construction of said curb sha11 include full returns at all street anfl alley intersections between the.limits herein described, omitting, ho�vsver, such portion of said streets upon vahich a cement � curb oY the class hereinbefore referred to has already been con- structed and now ex:ists.to the official line and grade. lhird: That a cement sidewalk four (4) feet in width, be con- structed along each si�e of Josephine Street from the westerly boun- .. dary line of the City of Z}rnwood to the �vesterly line oi' Long Beach • T3oulevard. Excepting that said sidetvalk shall be omitted upon such portions of said street upon which a cement side�valk four (4) feet or more in width, has been . constructed and now exists to the official line and grade. The construction of said side�Nalks sha11 include full returns at all street intarsections between the limits herein described. I'ourth: That a cement gutter one (1) foot in width and.five (5) inches in thicknass, be constructed along both side lines of the roadway of Josephine Street from the westerly boundary line of the City of Ly_nwood to the westerly line of I,ong Beach Boulevard. _ The of`said gutters: sha11 include fu11 cross guttors and w.ing gutters at a11'intersections of streets and alloys betvreen the limits hersin described, as shown on the plans hereinafter men- tioned. Fifth: All of said sidewalk, curb and gutter horein referred to shall�be constructed in accordance with Plan No. 345, and in further accordanee with Specifications No. 1 for the construction of cement eurbs in ths City of Lynwood, Specifications 1�TO. 2 for the construct- ion of.cement sidewalks in the City of Lynwood'and Specifications No. 3 for the construction of cement ,;utters in the �ity of Lynwood. � � � ,. Sixth: Notice ia hereby given that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments for the expense of s'aid proposed work of' improvo- • ment, which bonds shall bear interest at the rate of (7) per � cent per annum,. wi11 be �issued hereunder in the manner provided by , the "Improvement Bond I�et of 1915", tho last installment of which bonds shall mature nine years i'rom.the second day of July next suc- cesdiug nine months froin thsir date. • All oY the herein proposed work,.except as hereinabove stated, shall he done in pursuance of an act of the Zegislature oT the State of California designated as the "Improvement Aet of 1911", approved April 7th�, 1911, and the amendments thereto. ''- Reference is hereby made to said Resolution of Intention Ido. 58 for further particulars of said work. SECTION 2i The City Clerk of ths City of Lynwood is hereb;� di- rected to post conspicuously for five (5) days on or near the Chamber Door o£ the Board of Trustess, in the manner and form required by law, a printed notice, with specifications, inviting sealed pro- posals or bids for doing said work; also to post a.copy of said notice upon the Bulletin Board at the Paci.fic Electric �ailvaay Station, kno��n as Zyntivood Station, at the intersection of Long.Beach BouLevard and I'ernwood �venue in said City; and Also one copy upon the bulletin board at the northwest corner of,Nulford 1lvenue and Zong Reach I3oulevard in.said'City. SFCTION 3: Said notice sha11 require all proposals or bids � offered to be accompanied by a certified check or bond, either, as prescribe�d by law; and .payable� to �tlie,.
