SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience require,
and it is the�intention of the�Board o£ Trustees of the �ity of '
Lynwood to order the foTlo�ving improvements to be made in said
City, to-wit:
First: Bhat all of tho roadway.of the following described :
streets and portions of streets in said city be graded and pavsd
to the ofYicial line and grade with an oil macadam pavemer.t four
° inches (4�") in thickness, in accordance with P1an Pio. 364,�Sheets
� 1 and 2, ancl in further,accordar�ce with Specifications No. 5, for
Street paving with oil maeadam pavement, in the City'of Lynwood,,

SECTION 2: That said contemplated work of imp�ovement in the
opinion of said Board of Trustees is of more than local or ordinary
public benef'it and wiTl affect and benefit the larids and.district
hereinafter described,•.and said Board of Trustees hereby declares
that the district in said City of Lynwood bene£ited by said work of.
improvement and to be assesssd to pay the costs and expenses thereof
is described as follows:
Beginning at a point where the easterly prolongation of the
northerly lirie of Virginia �treet is`intersected by the easterly

prolonged line and northerly line of Virginia 5 treot to an inter-
section �vith a line drawn 400 feet viesterly from and parallel with

" EXCEPTInG therefrom any portion oP any public streets, avenues,
boulevards or alleys which may be included within the above des-
. cribed boundary line. This description is general only. Reference
is hereby made to Plan Ido. 364, Sheets l and 2,'in which the assess-
ment district referred to is shown within red colored border lines.
SECTION 3: nTOtice is hereby given that serial bonds to repre-
- sent unpaid assessments for the expense of said proposed work and
, • .
improvemonts, which borids shall boar interest at the rate of seven
(7) per cent per annum, wi11 be issued hereundsr in the manner pro-
vided by the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915" the last installment o3
° which bonds shall nature nine years �rom the second day of July '
next succseding nine months f'rom their date.
A11 of the herein proposed work, except as hereinabove stated,.
shall be done in pursuance of an act of the Legislature of the State
of Califorriia designated as the "Improvement Act of 1911", approved
April 7, 1911, and the amendmer.ts thereto.
SECTION 4: All plans referred t.o herein are on file in the
office of the City ''�ngineer of said City. All specifications
re�erred to herein are on Yile in the office oY the�City.Clerk of
said City,, Said plans and specifications are hereby rsferred to
for a more particular description of said work made a part hereof.
SECTIOIvT 5: The City ��ngineer is directed to make a diagram
of the property afeected or benefited by the proposed work of im-
provement as described herein and to be assessed to pay the'ex-
penses thereoY. Such diagram shall shoiv eaeh separate lot, piece
or parcel of land, the area in square feet in each of said lots,
pieces or parcels of land, the relative location of the same to
the work proposed to be done, all �vithin the. limits.of the assess-
ment district.
SECTIOId 6: Notice is hereby �iven that the 13th.day of
June, 1923, at the hour of B:00 o'clock 1'. I:�I, of said at the .
• Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of�the �ity of Lynwood
is hereby fixed and designated as the day, hou'r and place v�hen and
where any and all,persons having any objections to the proposed
work o� improvement hereinudesignated, may appear beYore said Board.

Resolution of Intention. •
' SECTION 7: The Lymvood Tribuno, a tiveekly neovspaper of general
circulation, published and circulated in said CitJ of I,ynwood, is
hereby dssignated:as the nev�spaper in which this.?tesolution of In-"
• tention and Notice of the Passage thereof, shall be published in
th,e manner and by the persons required by law.
SFCTIO?d 8: The Superintendent oi Streets of said City shall.
post notices of said improvement as.required by law. The Board of
Trustees does not deem it advisable that the C1srk be required to
mail copies of the notice of improvsment .to the owners or reputed
' owners, and the said City Clerk shall not be required to mail any
copies of said notice whatsoevsr.
The City Clerk of the said City of I,ynwood is hereby directed
to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published by t�ro (2)
• insertions in the manner required by law in the Lyn�vood Tribune.
