MINUTES - TOZ OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA
The meeting of the Town Commissioners of the Town of Gulf Stream, was
held on Monday, Dec. 11, 1950, at 10:30 AM, at the Town Hall.
Present were Mr. L. Seton Lindsay, Mayor; Mr. William T. Jebb, Vice- Mayor;
and Ivir. Wm. J. Bauer, Town Clerk and Tax Collector.
The minutes of the meeting held on Nov. 8, 1950 were read and approved.
Referring to meeting of Nov. 8, 1950, regarding resolution to exclude
buses and trucks on AlA, the Board decided to act in accord with the
County Commissioners request. The ordinance drawn up by Mr. C. Y. Byrd,
was read ana signed by the Mayor, and Vice - Mayor, and was posted as of
this date.
The purchase of a new truck for garbage collection was discussed. The
Commissioners deciued to approve the purchase of a new lz Ton, truck
with a special garbage truck body, as described in bids submitted by
Joe Biank Motors, and Adams Chevrolet Co. The bids appeared to be so
nearly identical that the Council voted to leave the decision to the
Mayor ana Town Clerk, who would decide on auvantages of tires and
other details.
The Commissioners approved the payment of the attached list of bills.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
