CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of September 20, 2004, was convened at 5:45 P.M.
by Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
following Council Members were present:
Present: Berry, Brown, Crane, Ferguson, Harvey, Martin, Schnitzler, Vogel, and
Weber
Absent: Viessman
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Appointments
Mayor John Landwehr announced that he has asked Councilmen Crane, Brown, Harvey,
and City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus, to serve on an ad hoc committee to study the issue
of JCTV cable access channel. He stated that since Councilman Crane would serve as
chairman, he will leave it to Councilman Crane's discretion whether to invite some Lincoln
University persons to serve on the committee as well.
New Business
Councilman Brian Crane asked if Parks & Recreation Director Bill Lockwood can let the Council
know how the ice arena's 9 -week extended season trial period went. Mr. Lockwood stated he
will get that information together and send it to all the Council Members.
No official actions were taken since this was a work session only.
The meeting adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
