� SECTION 1: That the public interest and convsnience do require,
and it is the intention of the Board of mrustees oY the City of '
I,ynwood to.order the following improvemonts to be made in said City,
,. to-wit:
• First: That the following described stroets in said City be
graded and paved with an oi1 macadam pavemsnt four (4) inches in
thickness, and have constructed along the same, cement curbs desig-
nated as "Class B° curb described in the hereinafter referred to ,
specifications,.csment sidewalks four (4) feet in width; and
cement gutters five (5) inchos in thickness.. The above cement
, curbs and sidswalka to be omitted on such portions of said streets
on r+hich a cemer_t curb of the class above doscribed or a sidewalk •
four (4) feet or mbre in width.has already been constructed and
.-now exists to the off.icial grade hereinafter roferred.to, viz:

Lynwood to the westerly line of Zong Beach Boulevard.

_ School Street, and from a line drawn 40.00 feet easterly from and
parallel �•rith•the westerly line of Zots 1376 and 1393 of Tract No.
• 3389, as per map recorded in Book 37, Page 33, of i�daps, Records of
Los Angeles County, California, to the easte�ly boundary line of
� the City of Lynwood. ' '

Second: That Josephine Street from I,ong Beach �oulevard to'
School S,treet be graded and oilod and have constructed along the
same, cement curbs of the class designated as t'Class B" eurb -
described in the herein2fter rei'erred to specifications, cement
, sidetivalks four (4) feet.in width, and cement,gutters five (5)
inches in thickness, the above csment curbs and sidewalks to be •

of the City Engineer of said City, and Specifications No. 1 for the
construction of cement curbs in the City of I,ynwood, Specifications
No. 2 for the construction of cement sidewalks in tho City of
, Zynwood, Specifications No. 3 for the construction of cement
gutters in the City of I,ynwood, and SpeciYications No. 4 for the
grading and oiling of streets and avenues in the City of I,ynwood,.
and Specifications PIo. 5 for strset paving with oil 2,4acadam pavement

of,said City. Said plans and specification5 are hereby referred.to'

all details as to the extent of-said assessment district.
SECTIOPI 3: IGo.tice is hereUy given that serial bonds to rep-
resent-unpaid assessments for the expense o.f said proposed work
. and improvement, tivhich bonds shall bear interest at the rate of
. seven (7) per cent per will be issued hereunder in the �
manner provided by the °Improvsment Bond Act oi' 1°15", and amond- •
ments thoreto, the last installment of svhich bonds shall maturs
nine years from the second day of July next sueceedino ten months
� from their date. '
All of the herein proposed work, except as.hereinabove statod,
.. shall be eone in pursu�;nce of an act of the I,egislature of the
State of.Qalifornia designated as the,"2mprovement �ct of 1911",
approved April 7, 1911, and.the amendn�ents thersto.
SECTION 4: All plans referred to.herein are on file in;the

said City. .Said plans and specifications are hereby reforred,to

hereof. .

of the property affected,or benefited by ths proposed vrork of
� improdement as described herein and,to be assessed to pay the ex- �
pen�es thereof; sucYi diagram sha1T show each separate lot,"piece
• or par,Cel of land, the arsa in squase feet in each of s�id lots,
pieces or parcels of land, the relative location;>of the same to
the work proposed,to be d.one, all within the limits of the assess=
ment district. -
SECTION 6: IJotiee is hereby given that the lOth day of
. October, 1923, at.the hour of 8:00 o`clock P. M. of said day, at
. the Council Chambor of t'rie �oard of Trustees o£ the �ity of Zyn-
wood is horeby fixed and dssignated as tne day, hour and plaee..
when and where any.and all persons having any object.ions to the
proposed work of improvement.herein designated may appear before '
. said Board of Trustees and shovv�cause, if any they have, v✓hy said
improvement should not be carriod out in accordance with the pro-
visions o�..this Resolution of.Intention.
SECTION 7: The I,ynwood Tribune, a weekly newspaper o� general
circulation published and circulated in said City of I,ynwood, is �
hereby dosignatod as the newspaper, in which this Resolution.of
Intention and Diotice of Passage thereoY shall be published in .the
. . manner and by the persons required by law...-
SECTION 8: The Superintendent of Streats of said City shall
� post notices of said improvement as required by law. The,Board of
Trustees-doos not•--deem it-,advisable..that,the Clerk bo._required to
mail,copies of the action of improvement to the owners or reputed
owr.ers, and the said City Cler.k shall not bo required to mail any
copies of said notice whatsoever.
The City Clerk of the said Cit;� of I,ynwood is hereby directed
to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published by two (2)
insertions in the manner reqnired by 1aw,in the I.ynwood Tribune.
