, SECTION l: That the'public interest and convenienco require, and
• it is the intention of tho 3oard of Trustees of the City oi Lynwood
to order tho follovrin� improvements to be made in said City; to-t^rit: .
FIRST: That the folloyving d.escribed str�ets in the said �ity be
graded and paved with an oil macadam pavement four (4) incnes in
thickness, and.have eonstructod alon� tho samo, cemont curbs of the
class designated as "Class "B" curb, described in the horeinafter
reierrod to specifications,__cemont_ sidey�alks four (4) feet in �'�i,dth,
' and cement �utters five (5) inches in thickness. Tha above cement
' curbs and sidewalks.to be omitted along such portions of said streets
on �vhieh a cor�ent curb of tne class above described,.or sidewalk
four (4) foet or more in width, has already been constructed a,nd now
exists to the official grade hereinafter referrod to, viz:

SECOIv"D: That the i'ollowing describod streets in said City be
graded ar,d oiled and have eonstructed along ths sa�ae, cement curbs of

to be kept in order or repair by any person or company having rail-

the City of Lynwood, and Specifications Sdo. 5 for streot paving

Plan No. 391 for,the further, full and complete description of said
assessment district. The said Plan No. 391 so on filo shall�govern
for all details as to the extent of the said assassmont distriet.
. SECTION 3: PTotiee is�hereby given that serial bonds to repre..
sent unpaid assessments for the expense of said �roposed work and
improvement, which bonds sha11 bear interest at the rate o£ sevan
. (7) per cent per annum, will be issued Yioreundor in th� manner pro-
vided by the "Improvsment Bond Act of 1915", and amendments thereto,
� the last installment of which bonds shall ma:.ture nine years from the
. socond.day Ju1y next succeeding ten months From their date.
Al1 of the herein proposed work, exec-pt as her�inabove stated,
shall,be done in pursuance or an act•'of the I,egislature of the State
of California designatod as tne "Improvemont Act of 1911",. approved
April 7th, 1911, and the `amendments tnareto.
SECTION 4: Al1 plans refer.red to herein are on file in the

to herein are on £ile in the oFfice of the 0ity Clerk oY said City.

SECTION 5: The City Engir.eer is direeted to make a dia�;ram of
the property affocted or benefited b;�.the proposed work of improve-
_ ment as described hcrein and to be assessed to pa,y the expensos
thereof. Such diagram shall shorv each separate lot, pieco or parcel
of land, the area in square feet in each of said lots, piecos or
parcels of land, tiie relative locaiion of the same to the ivork pro-,
posed to be done all i^�ithin the limits of tho assessment district.
SLCTION 6: The Zyn�rood Tribune,. a�veekl„v ne�vspa.per of .�oneral
circizlation, published and circulated in said City of Lynwood, is
horeby desi�nated as the ne�vspaper in i^rhieh this Resolution of In-
tention, and notice of the passage thereof, shall be published in
the manner and by the persons required by law. .
SECTIOnt 7: nTOtice is hereby given that the 31st day of �ctober,
1923, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. L�. of said day, at the Council
Chambor of the Board of Trustees of the City of.Lynwood, is hereby
fixed and designated as the day, hour and place when and where any
and all.persons having any objections to the proposed work of im-
� grovement herein desi�nated, may appear before said �oard of lrustees
and show cause, if' any they havo, why said improvements should not "
be carried out in aecordance with the provisions of this Resolution
o£ Intention. .
S�CTIOT� 8: The Superinte�dent of Streots of said'City �shall
post notices of said improvements as required by law. The Board of
Trustee,s does not deem it advisable that tne Clerk be required to
mail copies of the notice of improvement to the owners or reputed
owners; and the said City Clerk sha11 not be required to mail any
copies of said notice whatsoever.

cause this Resolution oi Intention to be published bj� two insertions .
in the manner required b;* law in the Zynti��ood Tribune.
