SECTICP; 1: That the improvement herein described is required
by the public interest and convenience, and ths Board of Trustees
of the City of Lynwood having at the time set Yorth in Resolution
' of Intention Tv'o. 132, received no protests or objections against
said"work of improvement"or against the extent of tho district to
be assessed for said work of improvement as set fortYi in Resolution
oY Intention Teo. 132, does hereby order the.work of improvement as
contemplated in said Resolution of Intention P?o. 132, to-wit:
First: That the following described streets.in said.City be
graded ancL pavod tivith an oil h5acadam pavement four (4) inches in
thickness, and have'constructed along the same, cement curbs of the
class designated as Class "B" curb described in the hereinafter re-
ferred to speci3ications, cement sidewalks four (4) feet in width;
and cement gutters fivs (5) inches in thickness. The above cement
ourYis and sidewalks'to be omitted on "such portions of"'said streets
on which a cement curb of the class above deseribed or a sidewalk
four (4) feet or more in width has already been constructed and.now
exists to the official grade hereinafter.referred to, viz:
Agnes Street, from the'westerly boundary line of the City of
I,ynwood to the tivesterly line,of liong Beach 3oulevard, and from the
easterly line o£ Zong Beach Boulevard to the westerly line of
- School Street.
f,4agnolia l:venue, Burton �lvenue and Carlin Avenue, from the
easterly line.of Pine Avenue to the wssterly line of Long Beach
Boulevard, and from the eastErly line oY I,ong Beach Boulevard to .
the easterly bourdary line of the City of Lynwood;
Palm Avsnue, from the easterly line of Pine Avenue,to,the west-
erly line of Long Beacn Boulevard;
Euclid �venue, from the wssterly boundary lino of the City of
Lynwood to the westerl;� line of Long Beach Boulevard;
Pine Avenue, from Lhclid hvenue to Cedar �venue; and .
Oak �vanue, from Euclid 1�venue t:o the southerly bot;ndary line
of +he �ity of Zynwood.
Second: That the following described streets in said �ity be
, graded_and_oiled and have construeted along the same, cement curbs
of the class designated as Class "B" curb dsscribed in the herein-
after raf'erred to specifications, esment sidewalks four (4) Yeet in
width, and cement gutters five (5) inches in thickness. The above
cement curbs and side�valks to be omitted on such p.ortions of said
streots on whioh a cement curb of the class above described or
where a sidewalk four (4) feet or more in width has already been con-
structed and now exists to the official grade hereinafter reisrred
to. viz: • •
Cedar Avenue, from Pine �venue to the westerly line of Zong
Beach Boulevard, and from the easterly line of Long Beach Boulevard
to the easterly boundary lins of the Gity of Zynwood;

Thirdi That the northerly side of Orchard Livenue, from Oak
Avenue� ong Beach Boulevard shall have constructed along the same
cement curb of tho class designated as Class "B" curb described in
the hereinafter reYerred to apecifications; cement sid.ewalk.four {4)
Yeet in width, and a cement gutter five (5) inches in thickness. The
above cement curb and sidewalk to be omitted on such portions of said
street on which a cement ourb of ths.class above,.described or a
sidewalk �our (4) feet or�uiore 'in`width has already.beeri constructed

wood, Specifications I�o. 2 for the construction of cement;sidewalks -.
in the City of S,ynwood, Specifications I3o. 3 for the construction
of cemsnt gutters in the City of Zynwood, Specifications I+To. 4 for
the grading and.oiling oY streets and avenues in the City of Zynwood,
ar.d Specifications PTo. 5 for street paving ivith oil macadam pavement
in the City of. Lynwood,,on file in the office.of the City Clerk of
said City. Said plans and speciPications are hereby referred to for
the�full and dstailed description of the said proposed work or im-
provement and made a part hereof.
-� Fifth: The �rade to which the work shall be done and tlie im-
provement made which are provided Y'or in Resolution of Intention nTo.
132 shall be the oYficial grade r�hich has heretoYore been formally
established by this Board oY Trustess. �
The expense of:said work or improvement is by the said reso- ..
. luti:on made ehargeable upon a district which said district is des-
cribed in and by the said.resolution and is shown on Plan S�o. 389,
Sheets 1 to 3 inclusive, on file in the o�fice of the City Engineer.
Bonds will be issued as provided•for in said tesolution of.In-
tention Ido. 132, �
ReYerence is hereby made to Resolution of Intention P7o, 132
for further particulars of said vrork.
SECT.IOId 2: The_"Lymvood Tribune", a.weekly newspaper of gen-
eral circulation, published and circulated in said City of Lynwood,
is hereby desigr_ated as the ne�vspaper in which the notice,of said
work inviting sealed proposals or bids for 3oing said v�ork of im-
provement shall bs published in the manner and by the persons re-
quired by law. '
S�CTID?�T 3: The City Clerk of the City of Lynwood is hereby
directed to post conspicuously f.or five (5) da;�s on near the
Chamber poor of the Board of T"rustees, in the manner and r'or� re-
quirod by law, a notice-, with specifications, inviting sealed pro-
posals or bids for doing said work; and said City Qlerk is hereby .
•directed"to"publisli twic"e in "said newspaper:herstiy 'des`ignated for
that.purpose as aforesaid, in the manner an� in the form required
by law, a notice of said v✓ork of improvement inviting sealed pro-
posals or bid.s for d.oing.sair� work of improvenient, and referring
to the specifications posted or on i'ile.
SFCiIOI? 4: Said notice shall require all proposals or bids
offered to be accompanied by a certified check or bond, either, as
presoribed by law, and payable to the City of I,ynsaood, for an.amount
not less than ten (10) per cent of tYie aggregate of said proposal.
