CALIFORIdIA, DECLAR�NG AN FMERGENCY TO EXIST, AND RESOLVING TO TAKE
ALL NECES:ARY M^ASURP'S TO PROTECT THE HEALTH AIVD SAFETY OP THE PEO-
PLE OF LYI�"1COD."
• The Board of Trustees of the Cit;y of Lynwood does resolve as
follows:
That inasmuch as the pumping aoparatus located at Citg Pfater
--- ----Piant No 1 has ceased-to- function due to the "burnii�g- out" of - tho .—
electric motor at said plant
And whereas, the maintenance of an adequate vcater supply is
absolutely essential to the health and safety of the people of Lyn-
wood,
Now therefore, be it resclved by the Bo�rd of Trus*ees of the
Cit,q of Lynwood that an emergEncy is hereby declared to exist,
And it is further resolved that the said Board shall at this
time enter into any contract deemed necessary for the immediate re-
lief,�,of�he menace to health and safety.
