Seton Lindsay Town Clerk it it Wm. J. Bauer The minutes of the meeting held on August 3.1949 were read and approved. ORDINANCE 102 "AN ORDINACE OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, IN PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, PRESCRIBING THE HOURS AND SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUORS, WINES AND BEER MAY BE SOLD BY ANY LICENSED PLACE OF BUSINESS WITHIN THE TOWN LIMITS OF SAID TOWN; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON ITS PASSAGE. The above ad ordinance was presented and read in full. Upon motion by Commissioner Wm.J.Bauer, seconded by Commissioner L.Seton Lindsay said ordinance was approved on its first reading. The Commissioners approved the engaging of Mr. Cromer to purchase and install One Fire Hydrant nearthe residences of General Arthur H. Carter and Mr. Lewis H. Brown. The Commissioners approved the cost of printing of forms to be used in reading water meters. It was suggested that at the November meeting of the Town Commission that a rate be set for moving trash. The following bills were approved for payment. Ocean City Lumber Co. Water Hose 12.65q George Scott wages driving garbage truck 25.00, J.W.Wallace if taking caring of trees 5.20' W.S.Darley & CO school slow signs 11.30.E E.W.Cooper, Police salary for A}}gust 225.00^ There being no further business to come before the meeting, i� adjourned.
