CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Brown Bag" Work Session of November 12, 2004, was convened at 12:00
P.M. by Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Brown, Harvey, Viessman, Schnitzler, and Vogel
Absent: Berry, Crane, Ferguson, and Martin
There was not a quorum, Mayor John Landwehr announced no actions could be taken, only
discussion.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Mayor John Landwehr announced he will be absent from the November 15 Council meeting
and would ask President Pro Tempore Edith Vogel to preside at that meeting.
Bills Pending:
2004 -97: Mayor John Landwehr asked if the Council had no objections, he would like staff
to consider changing the contract term to be August 1 through July 31. No objections were
voiced. Staff indicated they would let the Council know Monday if this would be amenable
to the contractor and if so, make the necessary amendments to the contract language.
2004 -84: Mayor John Landwehr asked staff and Council members attended the November
10 public hearing to update those members who were unable to attend.
Informal Calendar:
2004 -96: Mayor John Landwehr asked someone to get with Councilman Dean Martin and
ask if there is going to be opportunity for public comment on this issue at the Public Works
& Planning Committee meeting.

Mayor John Landwehr distributed copies of the Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) annual
budget and asked Council Members to look it over before Monday night, and he asked
President Pro Tempore Edith Vogel to ask what the Council's questions may be concerning
the budget to determine whether they felt a meeting would be necessary to discuss it before
they approve it.
No official actions were taken since this was a work session only.
The meeting adjourned at 12:15 P.M.
